Even at night, temperatures rarely drop below 25°C. So don’t expect a cool breeze in the evening.

The sun’s rays are quite intense during this period. Therefore, you should avoid spending long periods of time outdoors during the midday hours when the sun is at its peak. The good news is that the waters of the Red Sea are like a warm bathtub! The sea temperature is around 28-30°C. This makes the area one of the most enjoyable diving and swimming spots in the world.

What to pack for a summer on the Sharm El-Sheikh?

 

Clothing: Loose-fitting, thin cotton or linen T-shirts, shorts, skirts, and dresses.
Swimsuit/Bikini: Bring plenty! You will want to go to the sea or the pool several times a day.
Sunscreen: A high-SPF, water-resistant sunscreen is a must-have. The sun can be intense here!

Daytime temperatures are usually between 67°F and 82°F. These months are the best time for outdoor activities and desert safaris.

The weather is still warm but not as scorching as in summer. The biggest difference is felt at night. Nighttime temperatures range from 12°C to 18°C. The sea water temperature remains around 22°C-25°C even in winter. This makes it ideal for swimming and diving. Sharm El-Sheikh is a perfect getaway for those looking to escape the cold European winter.

What do I pack for a winter on the Sharm El-Sheikh?

Clothing: T-shirts, short-sleeved or thin long-sleeved blouses for daytime.
